Greetings people of the internet! My name is Christopher and I'm a camera obsessed photographer residing in a small town outside of Buffalo, NY. I hope to make it as an advertising photographer someday and this blog is a place to post photos I take every now and then.     “Light man”  It’s all about figure and shape. The human body is merely just skeletal, a blueprint for what you can do with it, here lights create movement and shape connecting the motion of the body (arms/legs) to create standing figures. This was done with a black backdrop, christmas lights, black shirt/socks/pants so the only thing the camera could see was the shapes the lights created using long exposure technique, this was the ending result. It isn’t exactly my “vision” I guess you could say because I was both photographer and subject for this one and so it was difficult but maybe soon I can experiment more with using lights to capture movement and shape with lone figures.  And I should be getting film back any day now so I’m going to have tons of new stuff to show you guys!

    Inspired by the work of Jerry Uelsmann.  I was half buzzed when I made this but basically it is 3 photographs layered together to create a single image. In Jerry Uelsmann’s line of work he does a simular thing only using film in a darkroom. I want to create things like this in the darkroom someday just because I think it’s more “creation” than just mixing a few photos together and changing the properties of them to make it work, he did it by hand which is pretty amazing. I will do more of these in the future.  Time to sleep

    Inspired by the work of Jerry Uelsmann. 

    I was half buzzed when I made this but basically it is 3 photographs layered together to create a single image. In Jerry Uelsmann’s line of work he does a simular thing only using film in a darkroom. I want to create things like this in the darkroom someday just because I think it’s more “creation” than just mixing a few photos together and changing the properties of them to make it work, he did it by hand which is pretty amazing. I will do more of these in the future.

    New yorkers from the view of a carriage ride. Late at night me and my parents decided to get back to our hotel in style rather than take a taxi so we took a carriage ride! I had some film left (this was after we were at the Rockefeller center) and decided to take a few shots from the point of view of the carriage! This is what I got
